Jad Rahbani

- Born on 29/3/1968 in Lebanon.
- Composer, music arranger, and producer.
- Married to Ranya Traboulsy with whom he has two kids, Ramy and Rhéa.
- Studied piano, harmony, composition, and orchestration with Professor Hagop Arslanian.
- Sound engineer and general manager of Elias Rahbani Studios.
- Composed more than 3,000 jingles, sound design and ads for the Lebanese, Gulf, Arab, and international markets.
- Composed and arranged several songs for Lebanese and Arab singers.
- Acted in a leading theater role in Elias Rahbani’s Safrat Al Ahlam.
- Composed some of the music and songs for Ghassan Rahbani’s theater play Hannibal.
- Composed and produced his first album (Sources) in 1999 (EMI/Virgin).
- Produced his second album (Systemamix Vol. 1) in 2001 (Bird Production).
- Composed and arranged the music for Nadim Mehanna’s TV show, The Motor Show.
- Produced and arranged an oriental Electro Lounge album with Hovannes K (art director who collaborated with Claude Challe on Buddha Bar albums), titled Mix your Senses and released in Europe in 2002 by BMG France.
- Composed more than 200 pieces of music for Radio and TV news and entertainment shows.
- Produced and arranged an oriental Electro Lounge album with Hovannes K (art director who collaborated with Claude Challe on Buddha Bar albums), titled A.D.N ROSE and released in Europe in 2004 by BMG France.
- Winner of the Fidof International Prize in the Megahit 2004 Mediterranean song contest in Turkey for representing Lebanon with the song titled “it’s over”, composed by Jad Rahbani and performed by Aline Lahoud.
- Composed “My Jukebox”, the first personalized CD for kids in the Middle East in 2005.
- Winner of the First Prize with the song “Quand tout s’enfuit”, performed by Aline Lahoud and composed by Jad Rahbani in the Tremplin International Charles Trenet 2005 in France.
- Participated in the arrangement, composition, and production of Lebanese singer Aline Lahoud’s “11 heures et quart” in 2005/2006.
- Winner of the first prize with the song “Si je t’aime”, performed by Manal Mallat and composed by Jad Rahbani in the Tremplin International Charles Trenet 2006 in France.
- Composed and produced the original music score for the animated cartoon Assila in 2009.
- Composed and produced the original music score for the musical play Zain to a Beautiful World, presented in Kuwait in September 2011.
- Composed and produced the original music score for the musical play Mosbah Zain, presented in Kuwait in August 2012.
- Composed and arranged the original music score for the Hariri TV series in 2016.
- Contributed to the composition and arrangements of the CD Elias Rahbani Presents Ghassan Salem 1 & 2 in 2016 and 2017.
- Contributed to the composition and arrangement of Lebanese-African French singer Fady’s CDs Ma Liberté and Je vole, in 2015 and 2017.
- Wrote the lyrics for the Unicef Children of Syria song titled “Daket Alb” in 2017.
- Composed and produced the original music score for the TV series Sakat el Warak in 2018.
