USEK has several generations of alumni scattered all around the globe due to professional obligations. What unites them today is particularly their belonging to USEK and this solidarity to which they have been patiently educated.
In order to gather them again, the Alumni Office, whose vocation is to provide a space of meeting, exchange and communication for the USEK alumni, invites the whole family of alumni to become partners in its plans and ambitions.
The objectives of the Alumni Office is to create a sense of belonging to USEK, to provide a relation of friendship and solidarity among the University’s alumni, to help USEK in reaching its insertion goals and to help, professionally speaking, the University’s fresh graduates and alumni (internships, job opportunities, continuous education); several projects and initiatives have been launched in order to achieve these objectives.
- A computerized database gathering a huge number of USEK alumni has been created. All alumni wishing to subscribe to this database are required to fill out the alumni registration form. A research engine allowing to find relatives who used to be USEK students or classmates is also available. The profile of all registered members can be modified due to personal access through a username and a password allowing to update information.
- A network for job vacancies, sent via e-mail, works on one ad per day basis (on average). In order to benefit from this service, one should just be registered in the alumni database.
- Our alumni represent USEK’s pride. The achievements of some USEK graduates being particularly exceptional, the Alumni Office highlights every month a personality through publishing his/her biography followed by an interview and some photos.
- In order to maintain contact with members and keep them informed of all activities of the Office, news of the association’s members, as well as the Universities’ news, an interactive newsletter will be launched soon. It will be then sent every month electronically.
- Students of each faculty having different professional and cultural interests, as well as alumni’s associations for each faculty are in the process of being created (already created for some). The Alumni Office is committed with the founding committees to assist in the organization, access and contact with the administration of the University, etc.
