The USEK Employment Office establishes and strengthens ties between the USEK students and graduates and the world of business (public and private companies and institutions) in order to integrate them into rewarding careers, related to their skills and interests according to the industry and market needs. The Office receives job offers from public and private companies and institutions and decides whether to spread them among students, graduates or both students and graduates.
Furthermore, all job applications from the USEK students and graduates who wish to work in public and private companies and institutions are presented to this office.
This office provides trainings and helps the USEK students and graduates in writing their CVs, cover letters, preparing selection interviews or recruitment tests, learning the techniques of job research, etc.
Under certain conditions, USEK offers the possibility to its students currently enrolled to work inside the
University along with their studies. Therefore, students can assist the USEK staff:
- in the secretariats of different units (Faculties, Institutes, and Administrative Offices)
- in the Main Library
- in different laboratories
The remuneration of these student jobs is done in the form of reduction on the tuition fees, the amount of the latter being calculated according to work hours accomplished by the student. Three categories of work hours are proposed to the student:
- 5 hours per week
- 10 hours per week
- 15 hours per week
