Founded in 1983 under the name of CEDLUSEK (
Centre d’Édition et de Diffusion du Livre de l’Université Saint-Esprit de Kaslik), the University publishing center has been renamed in 2007 to be known as “Publications of the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik” or PUSEK.
The PUSEK plays the role of a publishing house for the University works relevant to national and regional heritage, within a varied disciplinary field: theology, liturgy, philosophy, law, history, fine and applied arts, letters, agricultural sciences, music, business and commercial sciences, medicine, etc. It publishes, in particular, a leading erudition journal, internationally renowned in the domain: Melto or Parole de l’Orient. The PUSEK is in charge of publishing books, proceedings of conferences, colloquiums and conferences organized at the University, annals and scientific journals, diplomatic archives of Lebanon and the Middle East, heritage collections, assortments dedicated to a well-known personality for his/her scientific and cultural work, etc.
The PUSEK coordinates with different USEK offices or administrative services, in particular the Communications Bureau, through developing and editing all written publications ready to be published.
