About

The Digital Development Center plays a very important role in the transmission of knowledge through library resources and services. Its mission is to focus on the digitization of USEK Library collections and rare materials to make them available for teachers, researchers and individuals in the USEK community, as well as visiting Library users.

In order to support research, the Digital Development Center seeks to provide access to USEK’s collections for research and educational use, and this includes the easy reproduction and publication of materials found in the collections.

Objectives:
1- Digital preservation:
We provide digitization services to libraries, museums, archives and individuals by producing preservation–quality digital images.
2- Reprography:
We produce paper and digital reproductions for private use, research needs as well as publication activities.
3- Conversion:
We convert rare materials to digital format so that the USEK community and visiting Library users can use it to support their research and instructional needs.
