The Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK), on the occasion of the donation of a bibliographic collection of the Colombian writer Gabriel García Márquez, winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature, organized, in collaboration with the Colombian Embassy in Lebanon, a conference given by Professor George Abdelnour, literary scholar of Latin America, on the theme: “García Márquez and the East.”

The event, hosted by the Faculty of Letters and the Latin American Studies and Cultures Center, took place on Thursday April 14, 2016, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., in the Conference Hall.
