The Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) organized a conference on:

• “The Yazidis in History and the Extermination Firman against Them,” by Dr. Saeed Khudeida Alou, professor of history at the University of Duhok and member of the Yazidi religion Commission for collecting and documenting religious texts.
• “The Yazidis and Iraqi Religious Minorities, a Futuristic Vision” with Mr. Khidher Domle, Media Director at the University of Duhok and a specialist on minorities in Iraq.

This event, which was directed by Rev. Fr. Jean Akiki, Vice-President for Research, and hosted by the Research Center on Minorities in the Middle East (RCMME), rook place on Thursday October 23, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. in the Jean El Hawa Auditorium at the USEK Campus.
