The Phoenix Center for Lebanese Studies was established in 2007 – 2008, and was asked to create a database, which would deal with all aspects pertaining to Lebanon. Accordingly, the team is seeking to:
- Examine and organize articles published in periodicals, which correspond to the centre’s acquisition policy.
- Prepare lists of star matters pertaining to Lebanon (cities and villages, convents, universities, …)
- Prepare biographical and bibliographical notes of authors from Lebanon or of Lebanese descent.
- Feed the database with bibliographical lists pertaining to the Lebanese heritage.
