For an unprecedented second year running, USEK has been ranked No. 1 for Sustainable and Green University in Lebanon by UI GreenMetric World University Rankings for 2018, making it the 8th most sustainable and green university in the Arab World.

The aim of GreenMetric Ranking is to provide the result of the assessment of the current conditions and policies related to Green Campus and Sustainability in the Universities all over the world. The ranking criteria and indicators for this year focused on “Universities, Impacts, and Sustainable Development Goals” (SDGs).

Thanks to a steadfast commitment to a fully sustainable campus USEK has advanced up the ranks 59 places this year to 180th out of 718 participating institutions across 81 countries.
