On February 26, 2013, once again, the Faculty of Business and Commercial Sciences at USEK joined forces with Master Capital Group Invest (MCG Invest), the exclusive distributor of FXCM in the MENA region, for the “3rd USEK and FXCM virtual trading competition on the MT4 trading platform”.

During this challenge the students had the chance to trade Forex, gold, oil, silver and stock indices, using an individual practice account with virtual funds worth 50,000 USD. The winners of this challenge: Rodrigue Yammine, 1st prize winner, Joseph Hayek, 2nd prize winner and Madonna Chahine, 3rd prize winner, achieved the highest percentage gain and were awarded money prizes by FXCM MENA during a ceremony at USEK.

Furthermore, Mrs. Noora Cheikh and Mr. Danny Maalouly from FXCM MENA, along with Dr. Charbel Salloum and Mrs. Madonna Salameh-Ayanian from USEK, announced the 4th edition of the competition, to be held in the Spring Semester.
