On April 18, 2012, a delegation from AgroParis Tech University visited USEK in order to renew the cooperation agreement between the two parties and evaluate the activities that had been achieved since the agreement was concluded.

This agreement aims to promote cooperation between both parties on the scientific and technical levels, to jointly organize activities related to education and research, and to exchange professors and students.

The delegation included Prof. Gilles Trystram, Director General, Prof. Christophe Sodore, Director of International Affairs and Corporate Relations, and Prof. Douglas Rutledge, Director of the Analytical Chemistry Laboratory. They met with Rev. Fr. Hady Mahfouz, USEK President, who presented them an overview concerning the establishment of USEK, its objectives and educational mission. They also discussed common affairs, particularly the possibility of promoting clauses of the cooperation agreement.
