“Microfluidic Systems for Health and Life Science Application”

The USEK Faculty of Sciences, in collaboration with the USEK Faculty of Medicine and Medical Sciences, organized a conference on “Microfluidic Systems for Health and Life Science Application”, given by Prof. Rosaria Ferrigno, Professor at Claude Bernard University (UCB) Lyon 1 – France.

Following three years of research at Harvard University – United States, Mrs. Rosario Ferrigno was appointed Professor at Claude Bernard University (UCB) Lyon 1 in 2003. She is currently site manager of UCB Lyon 1 at the Institute of Nanotechnologies of Lyon (INL) and team leader of Microfluidics and Microsystems – INL. Author of 38 publications and 4 patents, Prof. Ferrigno is co-director in the Projet de Coopération Scientifique Inter-universitaire (PCSI) of the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) 2011-2013 conducted by the USEK Faculty of Sciences and INL.

This conference, organized within the framework of the PCSI – AUF, was held on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 12:30 p.m. at Jean El Hawa Auditorium, Bldg. H – USEK Main Campus.
