The visit of Prof. Christelle Goutaudier to the Faculty of Sciences (FS) of the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) is part of his scheduled visit to Lebanon on the week of March 14, 2011 and aims to consolidate the long-standing collaboration established between the University Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (UCBL) and USEK.

Vice President Commissioner for Mathematics, Matter, Engineering and Human and Social Sciences and Director of Doctoral College of Lyon, Prof. Goutaudier conducted a series of meetings organized by the FS and this, in particular with Prof. Salwa NACCOUZI, AUF Office Director (BMO), Prof. Zenab SAAD, Dean of the Graduate School "Science and Technology" at the Lebanese University, Ms. Martine Herlem, Cooperation representative at the French Embassy in Lebanon, Reverend Father Jean AKIKI, Vice Rector and the Director of the Higher Research Center (CSR) in USEK.

Prof. Goutaudier conducts at USEK a scientific exchange of high level supported by the development of research areas, mainly in the field of renewable energy and the miniaturization of static process of equilibrium between phases, as well as by the mobility and the exchange of students and teachers. Thus, the point has been made on these various aspects of cooperation, on the progress of co-directed theses and on the continuance of the Cluster project with the Dean of FS, Dr. Badih BAZ, who strongly encourages the maintenance of relationships with UCBL. Finally, a conference for Master students in Chemistry was given by Prof. Goutaudier and focused on the phase equilibrium in the purification of Hydrazine "Fuel for rockets and Monergol''.
