Mr. Zafer Sleiman

After obtaining his Diploma in Architecture from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) in 1987, and pursuing advanced training in architectural education in Paris Conflan, France, Zafer Sleiman completed a Training Diploma in Planning and Conservation of the Mediterranean Landscape "Dipartimento di innovazione technologia e cultura dell' Ambiente" from the Sapienza Università di Roma, Italy.

Mr. Sleiman is member of the Order of Engineers and Architects of Beirut since March 1988, and a lecturer at the USEK Department of Architecture, which he headed between 2007 and 2013. Between 2004 and 2012, he worked as an architect and design consultant at Beirut Waterfront Development S.A.L (BWD), and at Stow Asset Development S.A.L (International real estate development company in the Beirut City Center), rising at a later stage to the position of assistant general manager in both companies.

He carried out numerous studies pertaining to architectural projects, including the residence of the Army commander-in-chief in Fiyadieh (1999), the Army Guest House in Jounieh (2000), the residence of President Michel Sleiman in Lehfed (2000), and the USEK master plan (2008).

As a painter, Mr. Sleiman’s works featured in several exhibitions in Lebanon (Club Amchit, USEK, Piazza del Bambino…), Jordan (Jordan University), Paris (Institut du monde arabe), and Rome (Minturno).
