The Lebanese Micro-Finance Association (LMFA), a network of micro-finance institutions (MFIs), was founded in 2015 by its nine members, five NGOs, three financial institutions and one cooperative. Our mission is to support the MFIs to improve the provision of financial services to non-inclusive groups and to activate the relationship between micro-finance institutions and the relevant authorities and related stakeholders. Thus, to enhance financial and economic inclusions, we contribute to youth empowerment, poverty alleviation and the development of human potential through a socially oriented and sustainable sector that caters to a large number of vulnerable families and micro-enterprises.
