Presided by His Beatitude the Maronite Patriarch Bechara Rai, the World Patriarchal Maronite Foundation for Integral Development is a philanthropic foundation established as a religious independent institution subject to the competent ecclesiastic laws. The foundation aims at launching social, economic and educational programs to promote the active Christian presence in Lebanon. It has launched a community employment program in order to respond to the alarming state of the Lebanese labor force expatriation by supporting and engaging Christian job seekers in both public and private sectors.
