Normal processing time for duplication orders is 5 to 10 working days. The Digital Development Center requests that orders are placed a minimum of 10 days in advance whenever possible.
1. Payments must be made in advance before orders are processed. Payment methods are as follows:
- Cash
- Personal or certified check drawn from a Lebanese bank, made payable to Université Saint-Esprit de Kaslik (USEK)
- Wire Transfer: Please contact the Library Finances Department for information related to wire transfers;
2. When citing materials, you should use the following format: Name or title of the item, Name of collection, Name of center or special collections, USEK Library, Holy Spirit University of Kaslik, Lebanon.
Example: Majmuʿat rutab liturjya wa ziaḥāt, Lebanese Maronite Order Collection, Manuscript Collection, USEK Library, Holy Spirit University of Kaslik, Lebanon.
3. USEK Library does not hold the copyright for all the original material in its collection. In these cases, material cannot be copied unless the researcher has obtained permission from the proprietary institution or individual. The researcher assumes all responsibility for questions of copyright and invasion of privacy that may arise from using the copies;
4. USEK Library does not grant exclusive publication rights. By giving permission to publish a manuscript, the Library does not surrender its own right to publish it or to give others permission to publish it;
5. USEK Library requests a complimentary copy of all publications which make significant use of its collections;
6. Publication of entire manuscript items or use of substantial portions of an item may be subject to fees;
7. The researcher agrees not to reproduce copies as dust jackets, as end papers, or to use in an advertisement or any commercial use of a similar nature, nor to mass reproduce, unless specifically authorized by USEK Library;
8. Content may not be altered or manipulated without special permission from USEK Library, except for minor cropping, brightness, contrast adjustment and noise reduction.
