Résumé :
This book is addressed to researchers and teachers of English as a foreign language. Its aim is to reflect on how creative writing, if started at an early age, can enhance children’s motivation to learn and understand the conventions and structures of the English language. It highlights how creativity in children – of key importance in any learning – can be stimulated in a writing classroom to develop an acceptable knowledge of the language, enable learners to recognize and produce correct utterances, comprehend the propositional content of these utterances and organize them to form text.
