What can I see and do at the PCLS?
  • Search original documents for data concerning Lebanon’s history, literature, politics, arts, and culture, etc.
  • Take tours at the Phoenix Center for Lebanese Studies.
How do I obtain copies of documents?
  • Once the collection is digitized and while you are carrying out your search, you have to jot down the document number.
  • The list with the document numbers will be given to an archivist at the Center who will give you the documents as either hard or soft copy.
How do I get started with my research?
  • You should fill the consultation sheet. Click Here.
  • Submit the sheet at PCLS@usek.edu.lb
  • Wait for our reply in order to prepare the archival collection you are going to work on.
  • Once the collection is prepared, you can come to the Phoenix Center and start your search.
How can I find out about upcoming events at the PCLS?
Everyone can have access to our website news and media page.
What do I need to know before I visit PCLS?

Who can help me with my research at PCLS?
PCLS staff can help you by:
  • Providing information about the available collections.
  • Making the records available.
  • Providing ordering information if you wish to obtain copies of readily digitized records.
