Access
To borrow material, you will need your USEK ID Card;
Your USEK ID Card is also used to pay for
printing and photocopying in the library
.
Borrow & Renew
Catalog
: Search for materials in the libraries with the USEK Library Catalog;
Undergraduates can borrow up to 5 books for a loan period of 14 days;
Audio-visual material can be borrowed for a period of 7 days;
Bound periodicals can be borrowed for a period of 5 days;
Renewing of items is allowed once for an additional 14 days.
Borrow from Other Libraries
Obtain materials
that are not available at the USEK Library;
Undergraduates may request up to 5 items;
The loan period for books and bound periodicals is 14 days, or according to the policy of the lending library;
Renewing of items is not guaranteed; requests should be made one week prior to the due date indicated on the item.

One Search
: Search the USEK Library Catalog and many of our databases simultaneously to quickly provide credible library results through a single search box;
Electronic Resources
: Search a large and varied collection (article databases, e-book collections…) of electronic resources;
Find a title
: Use this search tool to find a book or journal;
Off-campus access to electronic resources
: Access online resources from anywhere off campus using your USEK username and password.
Reserve a Study Room
Reserve a group study room
in the USEK Main Library;
You can reserve up to 2 hours of study room use per day and up to 6 total hours per week;
Reservations can be made up to two (2) weeks in advance;
Reserved rooms must be claimed within the first 15 minutes of the reservation;
Rooms are available Monday-Friday during Library opening hours; they are not available on weekends, holidays, or during periods when the Library is closed.

: Sign up for a workshop to learn about using library resources,

Research guides
: Use for help finding discipline-specific resources;
Cite your sources
: Learn how to cite your references properly;
Copy/Print/Scan
To activate or recharge your account, ask for the Retail Cash Officer in the Registrar Office;
The minimal activation or recharge fee is 5,000LL.
Suggest a Purchase
Provide suggestions for the purchase of resources that would improve our collection.

Exhibitions
: Schedule to have your artwork (paintings, photos…) exhibited in the Library;
Film, Photography and Recording
: Organize your session with the Library to make use of the premises to film, photograph or record.
