Under the high patronage of H.E. Rami Adwan, ambassador of Lebanon to France, l’Association des Amis de l’USEK (AUSEK)*, under the aegis of H.E. Nassif Hitti, and USEK alumni in France organized their first gala dinner in Paris, the proceeds of which will help finance scholarships for struggling USEK students under the current economic crisis in Lebanon.

This event took place on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at 8:00 p.m., at the Cercle national des Armées, place Saint Augustin, 8th arrondissement – Paris in the presence of Fr. Talal Hachem, president of USEK.


* L’Association des Amis de l’USEK (AUSEK) is a non-profit association founded in 1985 by Mr. André Tuilier and a group of Lebanon enthusiasts, including academics and prominent figures who support USEK’s mission, both on the academic level and on the level of Lebanon’s outreach, culture, and history. Its purpose is to strengthen scientific, intellectual, and cultural cooperation between USEK and all major French institutions, both public and private.
