As part of the agreement recently signed between USEK and Erbe MEA, the opening ceremony of the Erbe+ Academy (USEK partner of the Erbe Academy) took place on Tuesday, March 15, 2022.

This agreement will open a new chapter in simulation techniques for USEK's medical graduates and engineering students who will have the opportunity to perform advanced medical simulation activities in the training center of the School of Medicine and Medical Sciences (François Bassil Medical Building - Jbeil).

*Erbe Elektromedizin GmbH was founded in 1851 in Tuebingen, Germany. In the 5th generation, the family-owned company develops, produces and sells systems for electrosurgery, vessel sealing, argon plasma coagulation, cryosurgery and hydrosurgery. Erbe is considered a pioneer in electrosurgery, a technology that utilizes high-frequency currents in order to cut through, coagulate or devitalize tissue, or to seal blood vessels.
