  • Providing high-quality career development and experiential education to students, faculty, staff, and partners.

Vision

Our vision is to see all USEK students actively engaged in career exploration in a way that enriches their student life experience, enables them to understand the connection of their education to their professional development, and allows them to realize their career objectives and make constructive contributions to society.
The CSO is now active member in three international associations with expertise in career guidance and development.

NCDA: National Career Development Association

The National Vocational Guidance Association (NVGA) was founded in 1913. In 1985 NVGA was renamed and became the National Career Development Association (NCDA). Thus NCDA is the first, longest running and preeminent career development association in the world. NCDA is the recognized leader in developing standards for the career development profession, for the provision of career counseling programs and services, and for the evaluation of career information material .

National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE)

NACE has a rich history in the field of career development within higher education, in terms of setting industry standards, guiding ethical practices, advancing career services, and disseminating valuable career information. Established in 1956, it plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between education and the workforce. NACE’s ongoing efforts empower career services professionals and educators to effectively prepare students for the dynamic job market.
