Job Summary

The candidate is expected to demonstrate proficient knowledge of different animal digestive systems and nutritional requirements for cattle and poultry nutrition, including planning and performing experiments with lactating and growing animals.

Part-Time Faculty – Rural Engineering and Technical Drawing

Job Summary

The candidate is expected to have proven skills in various fundamentals of architecture and drawing instruments.

Part-Time Faculty – Lab Engineer (Mechanical Engineering)

Job Summary

The candidate is expected to have proven skills in teaching and research, using a wide variety of conventional and CNC machine tools, welding/fabrication, and assembly in steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

Teaching and Learning Responsibilities

  • Teaches and educates students according to the guidelines set by USEK and to the needs and abilities of the students entrusted to their care
  • Teaches lab courses in the Mechanical Engineering Department
  • Supervises undergraduates in the use of machine/hand tools and during final year projects
  • Provides department staff and students with skilled, technical support in design and manufacturing projects
  • Uses and maintains laser cutting and 3D printing equipment
  • Plans, designs, prepares, and delivers their assigned courses

Educational Background and Experience

  • BE in Mechanical Engineering or in a related field

Part-Time Faculty – Landscape and Plant Engineering

Job Summary

The candidate is expected to have proven skills in designing and managing natural and cultural resources, along with the ability to develop horticultural and floricultural foundations for landscaping design, while focusing on seasonal and perennial plants, shrubs and trees, as well as aspects of plant management.
