A. Symposium Themes

Authors are invited to submit full papers that revolve around, but are not limited to, the following topics:

Theme 1: “Exploring Emerging Trends and Cultivating Resilience and Adaptability”
  • Investigate Emerging Trends, disruptive technologies, and market shifts including economic crisis, inflation, and political instability to identify opportunities and potential challenges.
  • Foster Networking and Collaboration as a potential way for resilience and learning
  • Sustainability in a turbulent world; emphasize the importance of resilience and adaptability and risk management as tools turn obstacles into opportunities.
  • Address Social and Environmental issues and impacts: explore the concept of sustainable entrepreneurship and encourage entrepreneurs to consider how their initiatives can contribute positively to the world while maintaining profitability.
  • Promote Inclusivity and Diversity

Theme 2: “Igniting the Spark: Unleashing Creative Minds in the World of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.”
  • Building a Strong Team; Discuss strategies for hiring, managing, and retaining a talented team.
  • Corporate Entrepreneurship and Intrapreneurship; discuss how established companies can foster entrepreneurial spirit within their organizations.
  • The Entrepreneurial Mindset; understand the characteristics, traits, and mindset of successful entrepreneurs, risk-taking, and creativity.
  • Mentorship and Networking; understand role of mentorship in entrepreneurship, how to find mentors, and the benefits of networking in the startup ecosystem.
  • Innovation and Creativity: explore the role of innovation and creativity in entrepreneurship, how to foster an entrepreneurial mindset, and techniques for generating innovative ideas.

Theme 3: “Pioneering Tomorrow’s Solutions: Exploring Cutting-Edge Technologies and Disruptive Ideas.”
  • Crisis Management for Entrepreneurs; addressing how entrepreneurs can navigate and overcome crises like economic downturns or unexpected challenges.
  • E-commerce and Retail; strategies for success in the e-commerce and retail sectors, adapting to changing consumer behaviors, and online business growth.
  • Entrepreneurship in Emerging Industries: Focusing on opportunities and challenges in emerging industries like clean energy, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and others.
  • The Role of Technology; exploring the impact of technology, digitalization, and automation on entrepreneurship.
  • Funding and Sustainable Financing; understand different funding options and the importance of sustainable and innovative financing tools.
  • Digital Transformation; understand the impact of technology on entrepreneurship, leveraging digital tools and platforms, and staying competitive in the digital age.

Theme 4: “From Vision to Venture: Nurturing Ideas and Fostering Growth in Startups.”
  • Startups and Scaling: Strategies for launching a successful startup, challenges faced during the initial stages, and tips for scaling up the business.
  • Market Research, Analysis and Validation

  • Impact of Government Policies; discussing the role of government policies in fostering entrepreneurship, supportive initiatives, and policy recommendations.
  • Legal and Regulatory Challenges; addressing legal structures for businesses, intellectual property protection, and compliance with regulations.

Theme 5: “Entrepreneurial Ecosystems and New Models”
  • Future Trends in Entrepreneurship; Predictions and discussions about the future of entrepreneurship, emerging trends, and potential opportunities.
  • Global Entrepreneurship; Navigate the challenges and opportunities of international markets, cross-border collaborations, and cultural considerations.
  • Social Entrepreneurship: understand social and solidarity economy and explore new types of enterprises including social enterprises where entrepreneurs can tackle social and environmental challenges while creating sustainable business models.
  • Collaboration as a tool for growth and sustainability
  • Women and Diversity in Entrepreneurship: Empowering women and underrepresented groups in the entrepreneurial landscape, challenges faced, and promoting diversity.
  • Ethics and Social Responsibility and Sustainability.

Theme 6: “Measuring success and Impact”
  • Social and economic impact: develop tools to access and measure the impact of enterprises.
  • Social Justice: Understand how entrepreneurial activities can promote social justice and impact policies.
  • Exploring new entrepreneurial models and examining the importance of collaboration as a tool for success and sustainability.
  • Provide evidence-based recommendations by utilizing statistical tools to evaluate the impact of enterprises on the economy and society.

B. Submission Guidelines

Researchers are invited to submit full papers using the template (downloadable file). Submitted papers are selected based on their originality, relevance to the conference topics and after a double-blind peer review. One of the authors of an accepted paper should attend the conference to present the paper (physically or virtually). English language is the accepted language for writing and presenting the papers.
Note the following: Manuscripts may be 5,000 – 10,000 words, including an abstract, texts, tables, footnotes, and references. The title should not exceed 20 words, and the abstract should not exceed 200 words. 3-8 keywords are required.

C. Important Dates

  • Full paper submission deadline : February 29, 2024
  • Notification of acceptance deadline: March 20, 2024
  • Final paper submission deadline : April 10, 2024
  • Symposium Registration deadline : April 5, 2024
  • Symposium Dates : April 25 & 26, 2024
