Regular Admission
All applicants fulfilling the general admission requirements and language proficiency requirements are eligible for regular admission to sophomore.
Admission on File (Early Admission)
Admission on file is available for specific majors and is for G12 students who demonstrate excellent academic results during their last three years at secondary school.
G12 students eligible to apply should upload their G10, G11 and G12 grades on the online application. According to the dates determined in the academic calendar.
They should have an average of 10/20 and above for French Language in Grade 10 and 11 and will have to sit for the English Proficiency Test (candidates should have a minimum English level of ENG140, if not they will be rejected. In the case of file rejection, applicants will apply for regular admission).
The admission application will be assessed, and applicants will receive emails and SMS regarding the results.
Admission on Title
Candidates who have a “Good” or "Very Good" mark in the official baccalaureate, can apply for an Admission on Title (except for Medicine), and a Scholarship of Excellence.
Candidates who have a general average of 14/20 and above, during the last three years of secondary school G10, G11, and G12 are eligible for Admission on Title.
Maintaining the scholarship beyond the first year depends on the student’s GPA and USEK regulations for granting excellence scholarships and merit scholarships.
Admission by file transfer
Applicants who have previously pursued academic studies in another university accredited by the Lebanese government or in a technical institute, should complete an online admission application and tick the transfer box.
Courses cannot be transferred if earned as an internship, thesis, or seminar.
USEK does not accept the transfer of files from students on probation at USEK or at their home university.
N.B: A detailed description of the potential transferable courses (specifying the number of hours and number of credits) is mandatory for transfer eligibility.

I. English requirements (for all programs)
Required minimum score :
Redesigned SAT I Evidence-Based Reading and Writing ≥ 550/800 or
Essay SAT ≥ 16/24
II. Program Specific Requirements
1. Architecture Programs:
Redesigned SAT I (Evidence- Based Reading and Writing + Math) ≥1200/1600, or USEK Math Entrance exam ≥ 70/100
2. Business Programs:
Redesigned SAT I (Evidence-Based Reading and Writing + Math) ≥ 1100/1600 or USEK Math Entrance exam ≥ 70/100
3. Humanities and Art Programs:
Redesigned SAT I (Evidence-Based Reading and Writing) ≥ 550/800 or Essay SAT ≥ 16/24
4. Engineering Programs:
Redesigned SAT I (Evidence- Based Reading and Writing + Math) ≥ 1250/1600 (where Math ≥ 650) or USEK Engineering Entrance Exam ≥ 75/1005.
5. Agricultural Engineering, Engineering Sciences - Food Engineering:
Redesigned SAT I (Evidence-Based Reading and Writing + Math) ≥1100/1600 or USEK Math Entrance exam ≥ 70/100
6. Sciences Programs:
Redesigned SAT I (Evidence-Based Reading and Writing + Math) ≥1100/1600 or USEK Math Entrance exam ≥ 70/100.
