Regular Admission

All applicants fulfilling the general admission requirements and language proficiency requirements are eligible for regular admission to sophomore.

Admission with Scholarship

Admission with scholarship is available for specific majors and is for G12 students who demonstrate excellent academic results during their last three years of secondary school.

Excellent academic results are equivalent to an average of 14 and above for all the majors, and 15 and above for Engineering and Architecture programs.

G12 students eligible to apply should upload their G10, G11, and G12 grades on the online application, according to the dates determined in the Academic Calendar.

An average of 10/20 and above is necessary for French Language in Grades 10 and 11 (if applying for hybrid programs). Applicants must sit for the English Proficiency Test and have a minimum English level equivalent to ENG140, or they will have to apply for regular admission.

The admission application will be assessed, and applicants will be informed of the results by email.

Upgraded Admission with a Scholarship

Candidates who pass the Lebanese Baccalaureate or an equivalent diploma with distinction or high distinction (“Good” or "Very Good" marks) can benefit from a scholarship modification on condition of applying during the Early Admission period.

Only candidates who apply for an admission with scholarship and pass the Lebanese Baccalaureate with high distinction (“Very Good”) are eligible for this type of admission.

Maintaining the scholarship beyond the first year depends on your GPA and USEK regulations for excellence scholarships and merit scholarships.

Admission by file transfer

Applicants who have previously studied at another university accredited by the Lebanese government or in a technical institute can complete an online admission application and tick the transfer box.

Courses cannot be transferred if earned as an internship, thesis, or seminar.

The documents required to apply are:
  • a detailed description of the potential transferrable courses (specifying the number of credits and the number of hours per credit).
  • an official university transcript.
  • the Lebanese Baccalaureate certificate or its equivalency.
