Who can apply?

Staff wishing to carry out Staff Mobility must be full-time staff employed at USEK.

1. Staff Mobility for Teaching:
It allows the teaching staff working in higher education institutions to teach at the contracted higher education institution in the partner countries. Within the scope of mobility, at least 8 hours of lectures must be given, and the teaching plan must be arranged according to a maximum of 5 working days. Only academic staff working in the fields specified in the agreement can benefit from the mobility. Staff who meet the application requirements can benefit from the activity without a grant if they wish.

2. Staff Mobility for Training
It allows academic and administrative staff working in the higher education institution to receive education in a higher education institution in one of the partner countries. Only academic and administrative staff working in the fields specified in the agreement can benefit from the mobility. Staff who meet the application requirements can benefit from the activity without a grant if they wish.

* If an application is made to both teaching and training mobility in the same application period and is entitled to participate in both mobility programs, a petition is received from the applicant for the mobility given priority and 10 points are deducted from the mobility that is given the second priority.
* If more than one partner institution is preferred in the same application period, no points are deducted from the first choice. However, considering the preference order made in the application form, 10 points for the second choice and 20 points for the third choice are subtracted from the total score of the applicant.
The amount of travel expenses to be paid to the staff benefiting from the Staff Mobility activity is calculated using the "Distance Calculator". The distance calculator is available at the link below:

http://ec.europa.eu/programmes/erasmus-plus/tools/distance_en.htm

Through the distance calculator, the km value between two points from the place where the staff is settled to the place of activity is determined and the travel grant is calculated using the table below:

KM  Travel Support
 10-99 km
 20 €
 100-499 km
 180 €
 500-1999 km  275 €
 2000-2999 km  360 €

Special Needs
Erasmus+ encourages the participation of students and staff with special needs. If one of the selected participants has a physical, mental or health-related situation that would prevent them from participating in a mobility activity unless extra financial support was made available, the Programme Country HEI may request "special needs" support from their NA in order to cover the extra costs involved. The NA will evaluate the request according to its established procedures and satisfy it provided funds are available.

IMPORTANT NOTES
  • Provided that the conditions are met, the staff can benefit from the program as 0 Grants by waiving the financial support.
  • Grant amounts have been determined by the National Agency and belong to the 2020-2022 Project Period.
  • The total number of staff who will benefit from the program with or without a grant is limited to the quotas defined in the existing agreements.
  • Erasmus+ Program is supported by the European Commission. However, the European Commission and the Turkish National Agency cannot be held responsible for the views expressed here.
